Certified with the environmental management system ISO 14001, H.E.A.D. Hotel Equipment and Design GmbH pays attention that defined quality standards for each category are met and are checked for environmental safety.
Sustainability to us means in particular taking into account the social and ethical aspects of tendering and buying of products and services.

  • Electronic tendering and call for electronic receipt of proposals
  • Set-up of an electronic supplier management and assessment

Integration of comprehensive rules and principles within the General Terms of Purchase and procurement guidelines:

  • Consideration of the principles of the UN Global Compact and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations
  • Compliance with the Declaration of the International Labor Organization on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (child labor, forced labor, compensation, discrimination, etc.)
  • Ethical principles: fair treatment and equal opportunities, confidentiality, prevention of conflicts of interest in decision-making process, zero tolerance for corrupt acts Environmental Protection: "Internal environmental protection begins when purchasing"
  • Criteria for environmentally friendly products are a long life cycle and ease of repair, low-emission production, resource-friendly operation and use, and the reusability and low-waste disposal. At equivalent price and quality criteria such offerings are brought forward with sustainable products and services
